Read full review Moving from the wide-open spaces of A Wizard of Earthsea into the claustrophic confines of The Tombs of Atuan is a bit like being buried alive, metaphorically speaking. What I like most is the inversion of the princess-in-the-tower trope, where the princess thinks she is in charge and ends up being rescued by her prisoner.
